The Morel Family Foundation is a family-operated organization on a mission to fund those passionate about making a positive impact on the world. We created this organization with the hope of being a shoulder for budding philanthropies to lean on, and a trusted friend who shares their same core beliefs.

Donald E. Morel, Jr.

Dr. Morel has dedicated his career to science and medicine, ranging from pharmaceuticals to space exploration and cancer research. For over ten years, Dr. Morel served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the West Pharmaceutical Services Inc., until his retirement in 2015. He continues to pursue his passion of science as Chairman of the Franklin Institute Board of Trustees and the Fox Chase American Oncologic Hospital Foundation Board. Dr. Morel is also a Director of Integra Lifesciences, Catalent Corporation, Travis Manion Foundation and No Barriers USA.

Lauren Morel

Born and raised in Central Pennsylvania, Lauren graduated cum laude from the University of Scranton and did her graduate studies at Seton Hall University. She joined MCI in 1982 and spent the bulk of her career managing large corporate accounts. She currently serves as Vice President of the Morel Foundation and manages the community support programs.
